Each extended-release tablet provides high-potency niacin (as nicotinic acid) formulated for slow and steady release over a 6 to 8 hour period, rather than in minutes. In this way, the product helps eliminate the harmless, but nuisance, “niacin skin flush” common with regular formulas.* (Available in 250-mg, 500-mg and 750-mg tablets.)
